Musician raises money for military with exclusive song download

October 1, 2008-

Philadelphia, PA

Singer Songwriter Jodie C. Cohen is donating half the net proceeds from downloads of her new song, Mission to Save the World, to support American troops through Fisher House.

The song, a rousing guitar-laced anthem, is Cohen’s first single from her forthcoming third album and is available on itunes, amazonMp3, or at www.jodiec.com.

“As a songwriter, we’re always observing and commenting on the state of the world. I wanted to also do something about it,” says Jodie.

Founded in 1990, The Fisher House Foundation donates 'comfort homes' so that our military heroes and their families can face medical crises together. Fisher Houses are located across the United States and overseas on military bases and VA medical centers, and serve active military, veterans and their families.
